EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL CAREER<\/h3>\n

Dr. Michael R. Fausel studied law at the Universities of Heidelberg and Konstanz. He completed his legal clerkship in Stuttgart, Heilbronn und London (UK). Prior thereto he had graduated from the University of Applied Sciences – Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg as “Diplom-Verwaltungswirt (FH)” [Public Administration Graduate], which involved employment with Deutsche Rentenversicherung (DRV) in the areas of social insurance, foreign law and contribution law. After the two study programmes, Dr. Fausel was employed at the international commercial law firms CMS Hasche Sigle and Simmons & Simmons LLP. Before the foundation of BLUEDEX, Dr. Fausel worked at the international commercial law firm Beiten Burkhardt – especially as a partner – from 2011 to 2016 and was in this capacity responsible for the global labour law secondment practice of the firm.<\/p>\n

He founded the law firm BLUEDEX in 2016 to focus even more on (international) labour and employment law.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ el_class=”bluedex-text”][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1570544667588{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}”]<\/p>\n

COMPETENCIES AND AREAS OF ACTIVITY<\/h3>\n

Dr. Fausel’s particularly advises international corporations, mid-sized enterprises and the public sector in connection with all labour and social security law issues. He primarily specialises in the international deployment of personnel (secondment of staff, leasing of staff), the drafting of labour and employment law contracts and the implementation of restructuring measures as well as actions for protection against dismissal. Dr. Fausel furthermore advises numerous companies in the areas of works constitution law and collective bargaining law.<\/p>\n

Dr. Michael R. Fausel is a speaker at numerous events organised by professional associations, educational institutions and companies on topics relating to labour and secondment law, and he is a permanent lecturer at the publishing house Dash\u00f6fer. He also acted as advisor to a Federal Ministry in the legislative process for reforming the German Personnel Leasing Act. He is the initiator of the secondment initiative “Arbeits-WELT-Recht” and was a supervisory board member of the auditing and tax consultancy firm Lehleiter + Partner AG.<\/p>\n

Dr. Fausel speaks German, English, French and Spanish.
